Left Join Jobs is built and run by Green Quadrant LLC, a small independent software shop. It came out of a simple frustration: most job boards let you filter by salary, location, and role, but give you no way to factor a company's public record into your search. There's no box to check for "hasn't rolled back its DEI commitments" or "no known contracts with ICE or the Department of Defense", even though those are exactly the kinds of things many job seekers care about. We built this site to fill that gap, starting with the tech industry.

Left Join Jobs pulls in real, current job listings from over 1,000 organizations. Not by pulling listings from other job boards or leaning on a static, once-curated list, but by going straight to each employer. That number grows every day as we add new organizations.

Most companies exist to turn a profit, and that's not inherently at odds with treating people well or operating with a clear conscience. Our values filters are meant to help you find employers where that's more likely to be true, not to suggest that only a "perfect" company deserves consideration. Each filter is sourced from public information (news coverage, government contract records, campaign finance filings, and companies' own public statements) and updated periodically rather than in real time, so treat every filter as a snapshot rather than a permanent verdict. We know a fully values-aligned job search isn't realistic for everyone. Bills need paying, and everyone's circumstances are different. If you're in a position to be selective, we hope this makes it easier. If not, the rest of the site (search by role, skill, location, and more) should still be useful on its own. Either way, we'd recommend starting with just one or two filters that matter most to you rather than stacking many at once. The FAQ explains why.
